Paris Nights - Franc et les Centimes the Story so far...

On an august night during a stay in Paris American producer Ned Kanfer noticed a pleasant sound coming from under a bridge near the Seine. Suprised by the extra-ordinary sounds he heard Ned took his change and walked up to the bridge where he noticed five clochards singing songs about their daily life. Other than regular clochard musicians these 5 fellows where only using their voices. Ned was blown away by the creativity of this night-scene and decided to give the clochards the change of their lives: Recording a record in the United States! After contract agrements with the leader of the group "le Franc" the tickets to the United States where booked. Impressed by the United States and the situation in their home-country, Franc and his crew (Jean-Michel, Herb, Jacques and Michel) started writing new material that was recorded immidiately.

The result is a stunning record with which Franc et les Centimes surf across all the genres in nowadays pop-music. And it was released under the name "L'inflation d'Euro".

After finishing the album the group and Ned Kanfer decided to release the album for free on the internet. This in order to gather money through website www.sellaband.com in order to collect money for the main goal of the band: Recording a documentary about the beginning stages and rise of le Franc et Les Centimes.
